We put a twist on an old favorite today. The Du Jour of the day is Almond-Crusted Chicken Tenderloins with Lemon-Roasted Sweet Potatoes. Encrusting the chicken tenderloins with almonds gives the chicken a nice crunch and beautiful color. We also served these tenderloins with a Dijon grainy mustard dip.
Tossing in some nuts adds an extra dimension of flavor texture to any meal. Is there a dish you have tried before that had a nut crusting?
