Bonjour, Y’all!!!

Happy Black Friday!!!

I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving yesterday with there friends and family. My family had a great day filled with fun, laughter, food and football. Go Cowboys !!! Go !!! 10-1 !!!

A few years ago we started brining and smoking our turkeys. By doing this the turkeys come out moist and tender. The flavor is to die for.


We also made my sausage stuffing (a family recipe), corn pudding, mashed potatoes, sweet potato mash toped with brown sugar and pecans, broccoli gratin, green bean almandine and turkey gravy.

For dessert we had three pies. A pecan, pumpkin and buttermilk pie.



It was a great first Thanksgiving for my grandbaby and we look forward to her first Christmas.
